This commission strives to involve the Cluster in projects combating hunger and assisting the aged and needy both locally and abroad. The commission tries to involve as many members of the Cluster as possible and helps to connect people’s gifts with the needs of the Cluster
From Saint Joseph Parish Social Justice and Peace:
The St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Dinner Bell, is open and will .remain open to continue drive thru serving free dinners to take home from 5 – 6 P.M. every Wednesday that school is in session.
Volunteers (esp. cooks) are needed. FMI contact the Cluster Office.
Saint Joseph, Bridgton Food Pantry
Fourth Tuesday of every Month.
Food Pantry Day. We will need volunteers to arrive around 9:00 AM to finish prepping the hall and to prepare for the clients. Pantry is open to clients from 10 - 12. Masks will be required.
*If schools are closed on these days due to a snow storm, Good Shepherd will not be making a delivery. An email will be sent to volunteers advising when the food can be picked up at Good Shepherd.
The ST. Joseph Social Justice and Peace Commission is in the beginning stages of a “Prison Ministry.” Further. the Commission is considereing what our Cluster can do to help the Environment.

From St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish Social Justice and Peace Commission:
The Commission is collaborating with the Oxford Hills area churches to distribute food curbside every Wednesday from 10-11 A. M. at the First Universalist Church on Main St. in Norway. All are welcome for a free meal. To donate by cash or check or to volunteer, or FMI, please contact the Cluster Office.
The Social Justice and Peace Commission of St. Teresa of Calcuta Parish will meet on Monday, March 28th at 1:00pm in the parish hall at St. Catherine of Sienna in Norway.
