The Knights of Columbus from our St. Joseph Parish welcome you to our Church community.
Founded by Blessed Michael McGivney of St. Mary’s Church in New Haven, CT, the Knights of Columbus was chartered by the State of Connecticut in 1882 as a fraternal benefit society. The Knights were originally formed to provide mutual aid and financial assistance to widows and orphans. The Order is still true to its founding principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity. and Patriotism.
The Knights have grown to almost 2 million members in several countries, contributing time, energy and donations worldwide to their communities through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare and public relief works.
The Bridgton / Fryeburg Council 11376 celebrated our 25th anniversary in 2020
